very easy way to make drawstring bags for all prupose

example in the photo ------finished size:7x9"

pieces needed: cotton fabric (outside:8x19")

lining fabric (inside: 8x19")
coordinating fabric 2 pieces: 3x7"

2 ribbon or string at least 20 inch long each

first: turn raw edge in twice to form a clean seam on both piece of small blue Polk dot fabric as photo. and fold in half so it is now 1.5x7 inch.

and sandwich the outside fabric and lining fabric right side together. then do so on both side.

the stitch like the photo indicated on both side.

then it should look like this.

align this two pieces.

then stitch both side like photo indicated. remember to leave an opening to turn inside out later.

now it is what it should look like after you have turned it inside out.

to form drawstring effect. apply string this way by using safety pin.
